DEVRA MĀZA has been nominated for a Los Angeles Press Club Award for her HuffPost feature story “Are You Christian Grey? Take the Fifty Shades Test” in the category of Best Humor/Satire Writing, all media platforms. The article, in the guise of a tongue-in-cheek pop quiz for fervent fans, explores reasons for the franchise’s popularity while exposing a template for writing erotic novel heartthrobs for our times. This honor marks the eleventh consecutive year in which Devra has received nominations in journalism award categories.
